Thirty Blue Flags will be awarded to Bulgaria's Black Sea coastline in the coming season, which marks the 30th anniversary of the first award for the country, the Bulgarian Blue Flag Movement said.
As Bulgaria's representative in the Blue Flag programme, our national movement received the results of the programme's international jury meeting in Copenhagen, which reviewed the applications for the tourism awards and decided which world beaches, ports and tourist vessels will be awarded in 2025. The jury included representatives from the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP), the World Tourism Organisation (UN Tourism), the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation (UNESCO), the European Environment Agency (EEA), the International Federation of Water Rescue (ILS), the International Council of Marine Industry Associations (ICOMIA), the European Network for Accessible Tourism (ENAT) and the Foundation for Environmental Education (FEE).

In 2025, among the best beaches and marinas in the world will also be among the Bulgarian winners of the prestigious world Blue Flag award - the beaches of Belaya Laguna, Albena, Kranevo North, Golden Sands, Sunny Day, Chernomorets Hut, Byala South, Obzor-Central, Kozluka, Robinson, Sveti Vlas East, Sveti Vlas Nov, Sveti Vlas-Central, Sunny Beach-North, Sunny Beach-Central, Sunny Beach-South, Nessebar-South, Pomorie-East, Camping ‘Chernomorets’, Sozopol-Central, Sozopol-Harmanite, Duni, Duni South, Arkutino, Butamyata, as well as the ports - Marina ‘Dinevi’, Pomorie, Sarafovo, Kraimorie, Cengene-Skele.
